Introduction of hydrogen behavior in metals associating with tritium usage in a fusion reactor
Hydrogen behavior in metals is introduced based on kinetics and chemical thermodynamics, particularly focusing to absorption, desorption, diffusion, trapping and permeation. Surface kinetics and impurity effects which are quite important to understand hydrogen behavior in metals are explained in a little detail. Considering tritium use as a fusion fuel, interaction of energetic or high energy hydrogen atoms/ions and materials are also reviewed. If time allowed, H in W is critical reviewed.
